JAY SUBRAMANIAM
Managing Partner, Sea Link Ventures
Jay is an experienced operator of both industrial and e-commerce startup tech companies. In 2019, Jay founded Sea Link Ventures, to invest and operate a small and medium-sized businesses in the DC and New York metropolitan regions.
Jay started his career in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche in McLean, Virginia and the Public Company Oversight Board, the Washington, DC-based regulator of the audit firms.
He became CFO of Piramal Water (branded as "Sarvajal"), a clean water technology company. In 3 years, Jay helped grow the company 9x in revenue by expanding its geographic reach, while managing a 100-person headcount. Piramal Water is a subsidiary of the Piramal Group, a global business conglomerate with diverse interests in healthcare, real estate, and industrials.
Most recently, Jay served as the General Manager of the DC Region for Getaround, a peer-to-peer carsharing tech startup, and Global Supply Chain Manager at Wayfair, an e-commerce retailer in furniture.
He received his bachelor’s degree from the nearby University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland and later his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Healthcare Advisor, Sea Link Ventures
Shawn serves as a Healthcare Advisor to Sea Link Ventures, in addition to his work as the Co-Founder and CEO of Sana Skin, a healthcare startup for psoriasis treatment (using the Goeckerman therapy). In his previous experience, Shawn was a healthcare consultant at IMS Health and a serial startup entrepreneur.
Shawn received his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his Masters in International Health Policy at the London School of Economics, and then his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
